This is something I've been wanting to try for a while - a straight recreation (as opposed to the mash-up cover recreations I've done in the past) of the cover of one of the comics that helped change me into a comic fan as a kid.In this case, DC and Marvel Present Batman Vs. the Incredible Hulk
The original cover was created by Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez, copyright Marvel and DC Comics.

I had the privilege to ink the backgrounds in this book, when I was Dick Giordano's assistant. Holding all those original Garcia Lopez pencil pages in my sweaty mitts was overwhelming for a rookie inker back then! Thanks for the fond memory with this great recreation!

Holey moley! What a privilege, indeed! I can only imagine the chops you learned under Giordano. Wasn't he a 'pen' guy, though? Or were his assistants a mix of pen and brush?
