This is something I've been wanting to try for a while - a straight recreation (as opposed to the mash-up cover recreations I've done in the past) of the cover of one of the comics that helped change me into a comic fan as a kid.In this case, Detective Comics 554 - itself an homage to a Golden Age Black Canary appearance. Klaus Janson was very interesting to try matching when I was inking!
