July 2002. Acrylic on canvas, but with shells attached to the canvas as well.
When I went on a vacation out west and drove down through the Oregon coast, I was fascinated by the beauty of the shells and beaches. I fixed some shells to a canvas and tried to echo the patterns of the shells and the feelings I got while walking on the beaches.
