Description
Hi all!here's a tutorial on how I made Rosalina's wig From super mario galaxy.
I used: 1 long wig (le tigre platinum from Arda Wigs)
4 packages of long wefts (Arda Wigs) (You can also use another wig and sew it in and use like 1-2 packages to add more volume if needed)
Hairspray (got2be glued)
Hairglue (got2be glued) & Woodglue (for the tips)
Scissors

TIME!!!!
I started by adding wefts in the wig. Make sure to keep some left, for example 1 package. I used the leftovers while styling the spikes.
After you get some nice volume, I grabbed some hair ties to devide the hair into sections. Try to keep the parts as symmetrical as possible.
After I devided all parts, the most scary part started: cutting. I started on the front bang and with the spikes on her skull first. Keep some pieces of hair which are placed on the outside of the wig seperate, it'll come in handy. Try to go easy on hairspray, but use enough to use enough to make it remain in shape. To give it a smoother effect, use the pieces of hair you kept seperate (you can also use some wefts) and fold it over the spike and use a minimum amount of hairspray.
Once you have the right shape, use hairglue and woodglue (only woodglue if you're sure you don't want to use this wig for another project. You can also skip using that)
Now I started working down and did about the same thing I did on the upper spikes for the bottom spikes. Don't spray the whole spike, but from like the middle of the piece of hair. Your back isn't straight so if you spray from the middlesection, the pieces will follow the shape of your back. Work your way down until you styled the spike on the bottom. Go through the spikes to check if some need extra hairspray or some wefts.

I'm not sure if youd be interested or willing, but I would love to buy this wig from you, or pay you to make another for me for an upcoming convention. I know I could never replicate this even with your instructions lol you just did such a perfect job! Let me know if that's something you'd be willing to do

Thank you for your compliments! Yet I am really sorry but I don't want to sell the wig... This wig means a lot to me and selling it after the amount of work and patience it took isn't really an option for me I'm afraid If you decide to style a wig and come across any problems or obstacles, please feel free to message me! (I don't check Deviantart that often, but I do usually respond soon on my Facebook page: m.facebook.com/pages/Dalinxdus… )
I'm really terribly sorry!
