It's been a while since I've attempted realism. However, I decided to give it a more painterly feel that downright copying a photograph completely.This scene in the Phantom of the Opera Trailer was the most heart-wrenching of them all, I think ;_;
However, it was very difficult to make him look distraught, rather then giddy. =/ I'm still not sure if I've accomplished that feat. The quote is from the musical, and is one of the saddest lines, IMO. I thought it fit the pic.
The thumbnail will probably look cruddy, so you might wanna fullview ^^()

I luff that pic -added it to favorites- Yes, I agree, Gerard is better looking than Michael Crawford, but Michael's singing and disfigurment are much better! -is a Butler and Crawford phan-
In my opinion, the saddest line in the musical is this (made me cry o_o):
"This face which earned a mother's fear and loathing..."

this is fabulous. The thumbnail looks like a screenshot. I wish was talented. if I could draw only one thing I'd want to draw people (for reasons like this). 
During this scene, I was whimpering and just wanted to reach out to him!
Had I actually been able to, I definately would have run up and hugged him so hard I would have tackled him to the ground.
and indeed he is 'the smexiest phantom' ever..
I melt eveytime I hear him say 'you will curse the day you did not do all that the phantom asked of you!' (hence the signature

oh it's so good! I had to go to at least 5 stores before I found it! well actually, I found it at FYE, the second store I went to, but it was much more expensive than anywhere else (I looked online). I ended up getting it at K-mart!
and just so you know, don't look at best buy because I don't believe they carry it at all.

Awesome picture - you capture his emotion well. 'The Phantom Of The Opera' and 'Jekyll & Hyde' have always been my two favorite broadway plays, and I'm looking forward to eventually seeing the new movie. It seems to be a fitting tribute, at least based on the trailers I've seen.
