well, this is for lo korra, but i think i should let you know: There is an ENTIRE manga *now an anime too* about people who can use their blood as a weapon. i mean, it's about that after a while . . .
it's called Deadman Wonderland, and it's kind of odd, but worth the effort of reading XD. Be warned the author is on pregnancy leave, so the manga will be a while yet till it's continued, but if you haven't read it you have like 53 chapters to get caught up with or so

I'm not familiar with the US age television thingie... but considering the big mature fan crowed I would have welcomed a bit blood here and there. A cartoon movie by the original authors aiming for older audiences would be sweet

Here in the U.S it has the same rating as sponge bob square pants. In fact I am shocked Korra has such a kid friendly rating seeing how it ends with a murder suicide.
