Is this the gun that inspired the revolver from Metro 2033? They can both be silenced and look very similar.

Hm... I doubt it. Metro's revolver looks more like S&W and chambered for .44 - it does not share the principal feature of Nagant's ammunition, that makes it possible to be silenced.

Well, the silencer is essential for being stealthy in the game anyway, so maybe they put in the option to put a silencer on the revolver for that reason.
