Spiffy looking ship!

Would you be interested in seeing a 'full scale' model of it? There's an indev ship-building game that I'm beta testing, and I might be able to use said game's ship editor to model this craft pretty accurately.

If you want to try - why not?

So, is 1G the overall maximum possible propulsion, or is that considered the "safe" maximum acceleration, while the engines are capable of much more?

1g is maximum acceleration for this battleship with current engines.

Interesting. Does the ship use the acceleration to form it's "gravity", by using decks perpendicular to the plane of propulsion, or does it generate true artificial gravity, allowing it to have decks parallel to the plane of propulsion?

Second.

Very nice. In that case, in the event that they lose propulsion, they won't also lose gravity, making it easier to make repairs and get on their way again. I like the design!

If they should name a Borodino class, I hope their fates would be better than their ocean-going counterparts.

Well... There's no "Borodino" class.

Good way to avoid it

Yeah I always thought it funny seeing Space Battle ships with main gun batteries on the upper deck, all it takes is for one commander to think in three dimensions and the enemy's blown out of the stars
