Well not sure of that kind came into service with the 7.62x39mm round. I mean they still only using 5.45x39mm but are they using 7.62x39mm for newer weapons they making?

Well, shouldn’t they plan to make armor piercing rounds? For all calibers for their weapons? I mean, it could be useful.

Yes, a bit. RPK was based on AK, but produced by totally different plant, so they made some changes.

Folding stock is default for RPKM and RPK-74M, but it's hard to see it's folding from the right side of the gun.
