Description
Sirin and Alconost are custom S&W Russian revolvers, once belonged to Sergey Uvarov, monster hunter in employment of Russian Brotherhood of St.George (secret society, founded by Catherine the Great to keep paranormal activity in check). Revolvers are highly customised (reinforced to accept smokeless gunpowder charge) and enchanted (capable of harming aetherial beings with any ammo), usually armed with silver bullets, created for Sergey by Brotherhood's weaponsmith in 1895 (miniature madallions were painted a bit later by famous artist, Viktor Vasnetsov and installed into handles in 1900). Uvarov used them until his death in 1922, in undead-infested village. Sirin and Alkonost were rediscovered in 1957 by KGB's Section 14 and were stored in the Special Armoury of Institution of Applied Exophysics ever since. They are still in perfect condition, however, their use is rather limited since .44 Russian calibre became rather... scarce.
The revolvers are named after Heaven's creatures, half-birds, half-women, from ancient Russian mythology - sad one (Sirin) and joyful one (Alkanost).
