Пустельга-М2 (Kestrel-M2) is a most common working spacesuit in Russian Empire - civilian and military alike. Design is very reliable, cheap to produce - but, to be honest, far from perfect. Packs enough RSS fuel and life support for 16 hours of active work or 7 days of suspended state.

Well... Unlike some sci-fiers, I prefer not to violate laws of physics, engineering and logic (at least, not to violate them largely). 
Also, it is, actually, a bit low tech. It was designed to be cheap and mass produced

Don't have to - but want to.
Sci-Fi settings with liquid-like vacuum and space battle distances lesser, then WWII naval ones, are everywhere already, so I wanted something a little bit different.
