Description
Millenniums ago, the world of Nede was invaded by an alien force known only as the Gogam, led by ten demonic generals. The details of their invasion have been lost to myth and legend, though it is known the inhabitants of Nede managed to drive off the invading forces with the help of the Somtap, an angelic race that had been chasing the Gogam for eons, and of a prophet known only as The Great One.

While the war is ancient history, it's effects can still be seen in the land if one knows where to look, and the Gogam generals themselves still haunt the nightmares of Nede's inhabitants. Among the generals was Chiloth the Violator, a mollusk-like creature that towered above all others in the battlefield. While far from the strongest Gogam, Chiloth was feared because of its ability to absorb the corpses of war casualties and turn them into extensions of its own body.
