Interesting. While most people I've seen so far go with generic dragons/water serpents, giant spiders, rock golems, grim reapers, treefolk, giant centaurs, birds with too many wings, this is one of the few to employ a different approach. It's kinda like my entry for the Death plane, minus the wings.

If one wanted to get really technical, the Camel Spider isn't exactly an spider. Solfugids (related to Pseudoscorpions), but they're still arachnids nonetheless.

that is very interesting - i have never heard of the term Solfugids as a category of arachnid, as i was only looking at pictures of them, but certainly they do have aspects of their appearance which i did notice to be quite different from the normal spider - such as the eyes and abdomen. cheers
