Exquisite artwork! Evocatively crafted and with a great deal of care given to details and colourwork. Scary composition, a truly daemonic vision. Given your deft hand at illustrating Chaos, you might be interested in knowing that Warhammer Fantasy have a community driven spiritual successor project under steam. Namely, The Ninth Age: www.the-ninth-age.com/
It is fully possible for previous Warhammer fanart to be submitted to T9A, and if their iconography doesn't constitute IP infringement they may well make it into full army books, full credits given. Obviously, such an ambitious project is always welcoming artists, for artwork is what makes or breaks a professional polished product. This is a chance to have one's fanart under an official stamp, and moreover to develop one's own styles for familiar archetypes.
Note that one has to post two comments on the forum before being allowed to upload images to the gallery (just post compliments in the army blog section or suchlike).

thank you for this information, yes Chaos have always attracted me and it was the main 40k army I played with back when I was playing it - i just do not have time or money to do it anymore (i like the pc games though now Vermintide, Warhammer Total War, Deathwing, Dawn of War, Space Hulk etc)Β - i will check out your links too thanks!

This is one of the most perfect art pieces for Slaanesh. And unique too. Usually it's just skinny daemonettes all over the place. It's good to see massive daemons around.

i think thats more like if Slaneesh became OP as hell and jacked as shit but still amazing job on this =O

I remember the old goat headed 'Keeper' x]. It was a pretty sweet model but I felt like it lacked movement, although it was really difficult for GW to achieve with the casting at that point.
I guess the problem with Slaanesh is that its very difficult to grasp. I mean, Khorne, Nurgle and Tzeench all have very easy parameters to work with but Slaanesh has always been a concept thats been difficult to capture in miniature form.
I really liked the heads of the 2002 Deamonettes though. The smooth almost featureless heads were pretty neat, especially compared to the new 'punk rocker' models xD
If you can ever find it I saw a great version of a dog headed, mattered furred Bloodthirster around 12 years back in White dwarf. If your interested I could dig it out.

You've done a really great job with this. I never really liked the GW model of the keeper of secrets. It never really encompassed Slaanesh for me. I love the color palette. This is a really great rendition.

thank you very much for checking this out. I liked some of the older models of the Keeper of Secrets in my opinion. Although my picture was not based on the older models or perhaps even the newer model exactly, the older model was more goat like which was a great idea as it had the connection then with figures like Baphomet and Secret Societies

yes that figure cameout darker than i would like - perhaps the weak part of the picture - a lesson for me all the same. but yes it is lukcily not central to the picture

Well you did quite good on the usual theme of Slaanesh daemons, it has androgynous features while retaining this a certain level of disturbances and menace, the latter of which is masterfully punctuated by the Space Marine trapped in one of it's pincers while said transhuman constantly shots at his attacker who is about to give the killing blow to it's prisoner...
Also the colour of thze background further adds an of danger to the entire situation, so respect where it's due for a job excellently done.

Nice work. I like those bright skin and the general mood. If there is any issue I would change is the space marine. Hard to identify whatΒ΄s that black blur.
