Vision was awarded 3 stars, because this isn't a piece composed with an exact theme, but it is a very good sketch dump which allows you to see some nicely rendered pieces, as well as some of their construction, and good anatomy studies. These are the beginnings of pieces that can go much further, and are good to get a look at an artist's process.
Originality received 5 stars, because this is all original work, and characters. The work is traditional, and also the sketches are arranged in a way which makes them even more interesting, and leads our eye back and forth through them.
Technique received 5 stars, because the technique is very visible here. All of the hatching used is nice and uniform, there are both clean and messy lines. The construction of the characters is still lightly visible in some places. These sketches are also in various stages, which allows us to see some of the process, which is very nice for other artists to see as well.
Overall impact received 4 stars, because, again, this is good to see process, it has some nice poses, as well as studies, and gives other artists a peek inside the sketchbook (and even these sketches look great!). Again, I really love the still visible, yet light construction lines, because it shows that we all begin at a similar place with our art. We all have to build it up, and that's always a nice reminder. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s⦠" width="15" height="15" alt="

Very Well Drawn and thought out,
i would say on your female characters the bust-line needs a tad bit of work on the curvature for more of a natural feminine shape and less of a male pectoral shape. with just the B&W as it is shadows are very important behind and around the characters as well to provide a good depth
But i LOVE what you've done and its a quite amazing work, and i could definitely see where you were going e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b⦠" width="15" height="15" alt="

compared to your normal level of skill this one seems a little relaxed but Awesome job e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s⦠" width="15" height="15" alt="

This is great sketch work, lots of different poses, different parts of the body, and they are all acurate. I especially like how loose and free your line work and hatching is, youve obviously had a lot of practice. The characters are not dull, but they are vibrant and natural looking. The way you grounded them by adding just the right shading is a great technique. I think you have a good solid technique, even in your sketches it looks proffesional. If you can draw detailed sketches without spending too much time and effort, then your final peices will really show for it. Great job.

I'm not good at being a critique. So please you're free to tell me what is wrong.
The details are very good, I like how you can express different emotions in your drawing.
The charater's body figures are great and I have seen your tutorials and I think your techniques are very helpful.
I like the designs of your props.
And unlike my drawings, your characters changes face. It's like I can distinguish who the character is and name it. And also the shadings are perfect.
That's all I can think of. Feel free to correct me. :]
Just keep doing what you're doing.

I really liked the realistic portion you have brought to this piece! it has the feel of a manga piece, but the fact that you have incorporated a bit of realism into there is awesome!the details are really well done and the muscles are well placed on the bodies! I like the idea's of halo's and the thought of angels is really amazing! i also really liked the deatail on the fish, with the scales! it really brought my attention to it.
With the young man whose hanging his head, i think thats the best one!it really portrays the emotions in the scene.as that's all I can think of at the moment, I will leave you with the knowledge that this is really amazing!!!

The vision on this picture, in my opinion, is actually kind of cool and I know it's meant to look kind of rough but I think it really adds something to the vision of it.
I usually give only four stars when writing critiques, but I decided to give this one an extra half because these are all of your own characters drawn in your own style and I like that, particularly your character on the bottom right. (Sorry, I can't remember any names!)
For technique I decided to give you five stars because all your doodles are so life like and they all look so real! I think we all know that drawing people is hard, but your drawings make it look so easy!
Out of all the critiques I've written, I've only ever given out two five stars for impact, including this one. For some reason, this 'sketch dump' has really stood out from all your others just simply because I think this is the best one you've done.

Do you take live model classes, check online or how do you practice with anatomy and poses ?

I mostly use reference pictures from the internet.
Live model classes would be nice, but unfortunately my environment doesn't offer any

Aah same problem. Or they are too expensive. But it's nice to see that the internet pics seem to work for you. Β Though pretty sure it would be more giving to see the models in their whole "dimensionality".

I don't feel confident enough to critique your work. I do like this though and your right it is a bit of a sketch dump with a few themes running through it. I'm hoping that from this it might lead to you doing a bigger peice with some of the ideas you have here.Β
So how was that for a citique. oh no a critique on the critique. I better get back to my camera. Go and get that pencil
