Description
Just like Hebrew is written right-to-left, as opposed to left-to-right of most European Languages, Jewish clocks go counter-clockwise. And they have letters instead of numbers. The Jewish Town Hall in Prague has both a western and ad Jewish clock on top of it.Photo: Me

It's not that they have letters instead of numbers. Β In Hebrew, the letters serve also as numerals. Β This is convenient for the numerology known as gematria.Β
