Amor was born an only child to a normal couple, his mother did ballet and performed while his father played violin in the orchestra that always played during those performers. It was love on first sight for him, for her as well but way later, their romance was corny and they rather had it no other way. Their marriage happened within a year and two year later, they held the newest addition of their family, a tiny boy they named Amor, almost a promise of their love.

Now Amor was a happy child, joyful and playful. His favourite pastime was dancing with his mother and make pretend performances for his dad, something his father always looked forward to. They were able to provide Amor with everything his heart wanted and they managed to never take anything for granted, the only thing they had wished to teach him.

When Amor was old enough for the toddler classes, his mother asked him if he wanted to join a dance school and learned ballet and he did. The classes were utterly ridiculous, the kids trying their best and stealing the hearts of all their parents. Amor himself took it very serious and he stuck with it, never skipping a single practice, even resulting in him getting the lead in many of the performances. The little boy was the Prima Ballerina of his class and in the end, it even landed him a scholarship for the dance program of a wellknown Performing Arts college with a high school department. His family was thrilled, their little boy the star of his class, getting such a special opportunity.

With lots of hope and excited, he started the program. Amor fitted right in, making friends, doing well in his class, even having time to do his classes or help coach at the Dance School. Only halfway through his second year, when puberty was starting to kick in officially, it went downhill for his mental state. Amor had always been the one to excell in his dancing, in his classes but there were so many students who were near his level or even above it, he was so used to being the best and if he wasn't the best then he must be another disappointment. With the changing of his body came the hatred when he looked in the mirror, he felt fat and unhealthy when he looked in the mirror, when he saw his fellow students. Was he only getting fatter while his other classmates were getting thinner? What was he doing wrong...

Amor cut junkfood from his diet, then sugars, and slowly but surely, he cut vital parts out of his diet, believing they were only making him fatter while he should keep the essentials. He became obsessed with what he ate, he calculated calories, refused to eat stuff that people made because he didn't have the control then, he couldn't become fat again. Just like that, while he ate healthy, it wasn't healthy for his body, it just caused him to be thin but it didn't do anything for his body itself.

Years he got away with it, years he was able to keep lying to people because he knew how to control this until...
After practice at the Dance Studio, Amor fainted. He was out for merely minutes, but the teachers still wanted him to eat something, because maybe he had been working too long. It was a simple candy bar but he refused, saying water was enough. They didn't trust it, knew the risks ballet always carried with them for the mental stability of their students and therefore invited him to just grab a bite to eat with them. They were like brothers and sisters to him, he worked with them sometimes, he couldn't say no. His dinner that day was junkfood which he threw up the second he was home. He wanted it out, he wanted it gone, he needed to stay healthy, he had to be! An hour he spend in the bathroom, purging every fat, every artificial flavoring out of his system.

Amor was able to keep suspicion at bay from his teachers but they never really got to trust him 100% again, he had seen many students of them get eating disorders and if their questioning was wrong, they had at least shown compassion. Their annual camping trip came up and of course Amor had to join! It was a thing he always loved to do and he often got to land himself on kitchen duty. On the trip however, in the cabin, he got into a verbal fight with another ballerina, probably nothing that needed such a reaction but seeing that Amor had barely eaten anything that day, he just snapped.

One of the teachers had to step in, Amor got suspended from the next 3 performances. He had been on thin ice, he knew he was to play it safe but he blew it all. Still cursing and swearing, he grabbed his jersey and just walked into the woods, basically yelling profanities at everything. The teachers told the students not to worry, that they needed to let him have the time to cool off and that he would turn around.

Amor never turned around, due to all his anger and the approaching dark, he didn't see a slope and tumbled down into the river below, crashing in the water and going under, water invading his lungs. Was he going to die?
