Description
Made using 3d Studio 9.0 and mental ray. Started out as an experimentation with reflectivity falloff and kinda developed a little. The whole thing took about 3 hours to make and render, with a lil post editing in Paintshop Pro.I experimented a lot with occlusion and final gather in this one, as well as my first time using any mental ray reflection maps (usually I just use ray trace)
It was a lot of fun and I hope you enjoy it

hello, I like it only you could have rendered them a bit smaller, because its Huge and i cant rly see the big details. I like how you made the ground, is it just texture or is there a small bump too? (displacement mapยจ or what is it )

Hey thanks ^.^ the carpet is a texture...standard 3dsmax texture actually, the trick with them is not avoidance, just subtlety and sorry for the image size

No need to apologize its still good I am trying to learn something with 3DSMAX but i got Cinema 4D R10.5 in blood for too long, but i know Max is a bit better (mainly with the plugins and other programs compatibility)
