Weapons: A particularly long and sharp hairpin.

Personality: Cold, in a word. A subtle manipulator by design, it is no more than an object, a tool for its master's whims and wishes. Unequivocally loyal, with a calm, composed, elegant demeanor, and even an air of disdain for those of lower station than its master. It holds no opinion of itself, unquestioning in its duties. It holds no contempt for its station, nor any pride, as it serves its purpose exactly as it was trained. It does garner some manner of enjoyment in enacting its master's wishes and being rewarded for a job well done, but it does not actively seek these opportunities out. It is in turn masochistic and sadistic, depending on the situation, its "preferences" appear to mirror its master's perfectly. It would, without thought, place itself between its master and a fatal blow, and in the unlikely event that it was unable to heal its master, it would prefer death to freedom. If one were to manage to steal it from its master, it would put on quite the act until the opportunity presented itself to murder its "saviors" and escape in order to return to its master.
Likes: Pleasing the master, observing punishments, ratting out naughty slaves, the look on someone's face when they realize that it isn't a gift
Dislikes: It doesn't truly have many dislikes, though it holds disdain for anything that irks its master
Fears: Freedom, specifically being taken/stolen from its master

Bio/History: In as much a way as it were possible to selectively breed RohKuh, Verlin was just that, born of a carefully chosen and manipulatively fostered couple specifically for certain traits. As a healer and a Royal class, it is far more efficient at serving to take its master's ire and survive, as well as keeping him alive in battle. Shortly after its birth, it was taken from its parents, who were then killed and separated, that they might never meet again and would forget their pasts as well as their child. It was taught quickly to shift into its alter form, at which point it was collared and groomed for its very specific purpose. It has never been given a sense of self, nor has it had any desire to acquire one, serving merely as an extension of its master's will. It is given a surprisingly large amount of freedom compared to others within its master's estate, purely because it will never abuse it or otherwise take advantage of it.

It has died only once, and the individual that caused the rage that made its master slip up and deal a fatal blow received a far, far more tortured end for the trouble of raising it again.
