Never used? I adore this work. Beautiful colors, lighting and design. With what program did you make this, and is it difficult to make something like this?

Awesome!! Can't believe how your work evolved since i first saw your site 5 or six years ago..i immediately knew you had a career waiting for you in the CD covers field.
fist time i really want to try out some 3d program!
Btw, i was reading a Chimaira interview a couple of days ago & i was surprised to read that mark and Chris take credit for the design of the Resurrection cover album???!!
anything to say about that?

Thanks, I'm glad I'm still going forward with stuff. I think they meant they came up with the concept or something, I was credited in the cd sleeve so I guess all is fine.

SmokedOyster [2007-03-31 20:31:24 +0000 UTC]

Reminds me a little of Lebbeus Woods, more distinctly emotional. I like the degradation at the edges, too.

I'm curious about the approval process for the CD art you do. Whenever you post stuff that was unfortunately not used, I'm always surprised by how finished it looks. Of course, the small bit of freelance I've done has been for non-profits and such, who literally can't afford to commission final art and then not use it. They tend to reject it at the sketch stage if they reject it at all. Why is it that your clients don't? Is it just that they have more cash to burn?

Their loss. Besides being superbly conceieved and executed it has a great technoindustrial feel to it, a cyberman of the apocalypse or hardwired demon. Brilliant.
