...my world apartI'll find a way out of this
I made this piece today, while working on a reintegration plan to get myself back to work and also to change things in my life, some things will need to change drastically, but well I'll do anything that it takes to fix it. Yes I'm a monkey.
Composition is low on purpose and no, I did not stop with the Lovecraft series.

This looks really nice.
It makes me think of Plato's cave metaphor. Sitting in a dark cave, looking at the shadows dance on the walls. It doesn't describe just the way we are stuck with the one way of seeing the world onthologically, but also that it takes extreme courage to look at your own life from a fresh perspective and make changes. To have the courage to leave the cave when everything you know and love is inside it. After looking at the sun, that little star won't look so bright anymore.

I second 'Mayhem-Artist' on the background statement. I have had your background little universe as a wallpaper for far to long.
Usually I stay away at looking for a deeper meaning behind artwork, it seems to cloud what your looking at. Gives people the idea they really know whats going and what not. But this piece speaks to me, in the fact that it has so much emotion behind it. With all that has been going on with your life (from what I have read in your journals) this piece has real feeling. That is something that cant be learnt from a teacher or even practice. Its an integrity which comes from the heart. Its that very integrity which keeps me coming back to your page here, on raster, on gfxartist, and your personal webpage time and time again.

The contrast in mood, and control of tone and colour across the image is quality. I think, despite the quite dark appearance, overall; there's quite a soft feeling to the image.

Whats up dennis,like the mix of the, hands on elements,what appears to be metal stars and wire(nice cut outs bro.)The bandages hehe hey I used some like that on a collab. with swampy,man I found them in a old barn still boxed up about 50 years old,wild stuff man,I left them clean because of the message but love that analog hands on stuff this is what I mean about digitial being less digital.The sunflower kicks and the skull (monkey maybe)nice one.I did a quick id the other day and someone said it reminded them of a image you did called Trauma i think,am like wtf? hahha if hand go on face I guess its damnengine inspired,haha no ripping here man its just the face needs to be universal,so everyone can relate and but themselves there so it has to be covered.RESPECT!!!!

Just noticed the dried glue on back of the bandage wraps,must of been left over wraps form the two previous pieces,recycle,nice one.....

You're correct, I pulled the bandages from the cardboard I glued them on, the glue was quite dry already since I made these textures like months ago (patience pays off sometimes)
