Wallpaper PackI never thought this day would come. But it did. I have Sonic fan art in my gallery.
Ok, so I really don't know much about Sonic, nor am I the biggest fan. But I noticed that these little guys have been taking over dA avatars of late, and decided to do some research. Seems they're little critters from Sonic called chaos. I thought they were cute so I decided to draw one.
This little guy was done 100% in Adobe Illustrator during study breaks. I was originally going to do him with Adenydd's coloring of blue and white, but there seems to be a different race of chao with those colors, but that looks a little different...
I dunno, I figured I'd have Sonic fans after me for getting it wrong. 
So I just made the colors up. I found a reference sheet that said they come in different colors, so...

If, for some strange reason, anyone wants a wallpaper of this, it can easily be done. Fear the uber-cutsie eyes. Chaos belong to the Sonic/Sega people, the image belongs to me.

....I am a very morbid person. But although I don't like to say it, I know just about everything there is to know about Sonic. For example, ages. Sonic: 16 Tails: 8
Knuckles: 18 Shadow: 50. Yes, 50. So, these chao's (Chowz) are sort of pets to the main characters, who shape them to their liking. It gets weirder. You give them tiny animals to change their appearence, and attributes, like Run, Fly, etc. If you're good to them they turn into angels. If you're bad, they turn into demons. Nothings really different about them though, just the colors and head top. If you really guessed on the colors you did awesome. They are pretty much exactly like that.

Oh wow... ^_^ This Chao... is so cute! It reminds me of my fan chao, 'Kojichao'. Lavender, orange highlight/markings, and green eyes.
This is such a beautiful image, particularly because it was mastered in Illustrator! I don't know how to use that program, and you already made the best ever image! I love this.

That's pretty good. My kids and I watch Sonic on Fox on Saturday. There's a chao named Cheese on it right now. And it does seem that Sonic is coming back around with the furrie/anthro scene. It's all good.

Well I wouldn't call myself a "fan" exactly, but the Chao looks right. I'm just glad that there are relatively good action cartoons on Non-cable again. For a while there it was all the wishy-washy Disney crap on ABC or the live action crap like Power Ranger What-ever-the-hell-series-it's-on-now. I'm particular to the new incarnation of TMNT.

You're really good at illustrator, I just "got it" and it's confusing me and I can't find the tool that moves the shape points, just one that messes with the lines. I'm all messed up, but you see to be excellent at it!

Illustrator can be a bit tricky... the white arrow lets you alter the curves of the shapes... there are a few useful tutorials at illustratorworld.com... though I learned how to use it though a class, so I don't know how useful they are to beginners.

Aww, I know how to alter the curve. I'm looking for the tool that lets you move the point of the line, the same way you can for the shape tool in photoshop, but the mover isn't there. I'll look into those tutorials.
