OMFG, I drew something.

Soooo, I'm totally addicted to the new My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic show. Don't laugh at me, it's really really awesome, so there! It took me a while to get used to the style, but the animation is very sharp and the personalities of the ponies are great. So here is my fan character, and just for those who are wondering: YES, I do feel the need to corrupt everything I love.

This is Moonlight Martini, she's the bartender down at the Watering Hole, the bar on Ponyville. Yes, in my world there is a bar in Ponyville, but since Pony Land is a magical place, there are no problems like underage drinking or drinking too much. Everyone is perfectly well behaved and bar tending is more about the art of making fancy drinks and pretty presentations than it is keeping an eye on the drunks. So there.

Yes, she had bat wings. I like bats, so sue me. I know there are no Pegasus Ponies with bat wings, but she's my lame fan character, I'm allowed to cheat if I wanna! Were I playing by the rules, she'd not be a Pegasus Pony at all, she'd be a unicorn. Unicorn magic makes it a lot easier to shake those martini shakers! She is a distant relative of Rarity who keeps reminding her that short tails aren't in right now. Too bad that Moonlight seems to not care. She was also the last in her age group to get her Cutie Mark, for rather obvious drinking-age-related reasons. Not sure what the drinking age for Ponies is. Hmmm. She was always a night owl and loved experimenting with blending teas, fruit juices and other drinkables until she started bar tending. On her first night her Cutie Mark appeared: A crescent moon inside a martini glass.

...No, I really didn't spend that long on the history, it kind of came to me while I was drawing her. I'll stop being lame now. For a little while. Maybe.

So yes, this is my somewhat-butchered tribute to *fyre-flye . I'm hoping it doesn't annoy her how badly I butchered her series. Heh. But really, this is my little way of saying thanks for bringing the Ponies back, and making them better than ever.
