That poor baby.
I've got an idea of why they had to read that story to her. I think maybe her mother used to read it to her. Under that tree. And on the first anniversary of her trial, her mommy went to her grave and read it to her again. And the family took on the responsibility to keep reading it and keep her at bay. And after 300 years the heir finally had the guts to Talk to Her about it.
