Description
The gift that keeps on giving.Cloud gives Terra a gift, unfortunately Terra and Cecil may have misread Cloud's friendly gesture
Really classy Cloud
Mini Spoilers Playing Tina's storyline was really grating on my nerves the whole time.. if she was going to shake like a leaf and let her savior be a CHILD they should have had Locke be FFVI's Representative instead. But yea, Cloud's gift was in the case she ever gets in trouble and needs help... and she will.. End Mini Spoilers

Maybe he should've given some clues in case of this situation. Ah, Cloud, as socially retarded as ever /was shot.
And I agree, as it is right now, Terra/Tina never did make me interested in either her game or her actual character. I mean, okay, most of the women throughout the FF series are rather strong, but I just can't stand how she's acting during both OK's and her own storymode.
And she is rather helpless in the opening video, too. Gah. She never was my favorite anyway.
Woot for strong-minded women?

Mmm Cecil gutterbrain... mmmm
Your comics make me laugh always. I like Cloud's very "I'm awesome, you fail" expression, as well as the effect on Terra/Tina's face in the last panel with her. Nicely executed.

Cloud has a weird way of showing considerations
I do have to say something for Tina's/Terra's defense. As much as I appriciate strong women, we are talking about a girl who, for the majority of her life, is ripped of her own thoughts and consciousness. By the time she's free from the Empire's control, she's literally starting off with a mental age of a child.
I admit the DDF Terra is somewhat different from the FF6 Terra. In the FF6 storyline, Terra spends more time doubting her humanity and identity than fearing her own power. My reasoning is that it's before the beginning of the FF6 story when Terra is summoned to the world of DDF. Or, another possibility of right after the world destruction and before she rejoins the party, during when she's lost her ability to fight.....
And for the OP, from what I observe, at least she seems to be working well enough with Onion Knight as a team While she's keeping Ultimicia occupied, Onion Knight ended up using Ultimicia's missile (reflected by Terra) to mess up Garland.

Now, I'm one of those people that liked what they did with Terra. Contray to most female leads, she is actually a timid thing and only in the WoR of FF VI does she actually grow a backbone. It's very different, and though I am all about woman being powerful...I sort of find Terra's scarish behavor to be refreshing.

Even though most of the other Final Fantasy titles canβt boast one of the most important or leading characters being female but in my opinion sheβs still is damsel-ish even when she grows the backbone. I guess it just irritates me in general that her representation is so very weak. While the other characters have their issues, hers are almost glaring.. Especially in the opening movie. In that video you see every on the Cosmos team displaying their abilities and they look cool doing it and cooperating with one another to make a well oiled machine.. then you get to Terra, who casts like one spell and needs to be, not helped.. but SAVED.
Though I do get what you are saying, Contrary to characters like Rinoa, Garnet, and Yuna who pretend to be strong yet still need to be saved on a regular bases Tina doesnβt front.

I understand where you are getting at with the opening video of Dissida. Though I've always assumed she was battleing, at least magically, out with Ultimecia.
Then again, she does have a strong point; some of Amano's artwork in her Esper form is quite...scary.
