It doesn’t need to be a lengthy answer, and it’s ok even if it’s a short one. Is the color? Is the composition? Is the visual message? Is the contrast? Is the whole? Is the little part that is seen separate from the whole? Is the style? Is the format? Is the empty space? Is the texture? Is the saturation? Is something violent? Is something philosophic? Is related to your nation? Is the photography? Is the movement? Is the balance? Is geometric? Is symmetric? Is organic? Is the shape? Is the scale? Is the dimension?
Just tell me the first thing that comes to your mind. Thanks for your time!

You need to become one with the art. Put your heart, mind, and soul into the piece. Pay excruciating
attention to every single line and curve. Color precisely and never rush. Make to your absolute
satisfaction and be sure to set your standards high, and even then EXCEED THEM. One can always do
better, so don't hesitate to spend hours upon hours on a piece if you feel the final result will be a

For me, it's the emotion and mood that a picture potrays. n.n

You know... it may be silly... but for me, visual impact is the feeling/emotion I get from a picture I see. It doesn't have to be colored or "well drawn" (whatever that means) - it's just how the picture makes me feel. If it impacts me in such a way that I can feel the picture, I really love it. ^_^

The eyes.. the way you draw emotion in them, and then through the character is always what gets me. The eyes always catch my attention first.. and then, I guess, the contrast on the wa yyou shade your hair colors. Ver nice. ^^
Hope this helps- btw, have you any idea how long it's been since I uploaded the first chapter of my fic? I think its been over a year.. I might need to start on the second chapter!

Umm.. I think its the colors and lighting. If the picture/drawing/whatever is colored and posed beleiveably, then its probably gonna be good. Also the style had to be good. *shrug* I hope I helped you.

When it comes to your art, I honestly think it's everything as a whole. The colours compliment each other very well, and even when there's no colour your line art itself is so appealing.

Visual impact. To me it's a mix of many things all coming together it has alot to do with the composition, contrast and color. All of these elements are needed to create the desired result of impact although sometimes you don't need all three....(Ie black and white work which is mostly contrast and composition)

I think for me it would me it would be color, black and white or both is cool, contrast, a lot of creativity, and what realy makes any picture a sucsess is the emotion. Working hard on a picture and end up having no real emotion in it can realy bring down the worth of a picture, even if it's a realy great picture.

the definition i find works for visual impact is:
the enitial emotional respons of the viewer to an image.
or throwing your eyes at something.

Bueno, el impacto visual puede ser interpretado de muchas maneras, desde la reaccion que genera en todo aquel que este recibiendo la informacion visual, va desde los colores, las formas que sugieren, la composición, la calidad dela imagen o fotografia(depende mucho si es una composicion digital, fotografica, artística, etc).
Pa que se haga mucho pedo, di que el impacto visual es la reaccion que tiene la(s) persona(s) que se vea afecta por la informacion visual.
En tu caso de diseñador grafico, puedes decir que tambien esto es lo que ayuda a transmitir las emociones o la finalidad de tu trabajo, bueno eso creo, yo soy arquitecto y he trabahado un buen rato en diseño grafico, incluso estudie un rato y me supongo que pides ayuda por un tarea, y creo que esto es un buen inicio para que agarres vuelo, espero que te sirva.

es para un proyecto de seminario de temas de diseño gráfico. Nos pidieron que escogiéramos un tema y lo desarrolláramos. Escogimos impacto visual antes de darnos cuenta de que no hay absolutamente nada escrito sobre el tema X( Así que empezamos a buscar y una de las cosas que me tocaron fue precisamente recaudar información y encuestas sobre lo que la gente opina del tema

It's a bit of everything really. I think the thing that will stand out most is the thing you make more dominating in a picture. I normally go for interesting use of colours and light and dark contrasts ^_^
Composition has a strong effect ~ a simple black and white drawing if placed in the right area of a plain canvas can have more visual impact than a highly detailed and colourful image that fills a page. That's what I believe anyway
For example, in THIS pic ^_^:
-great use of colours and details on the characters amongst a blank background.
-the placement of the characters at the bottom of the canvas is quite efective
-the dark and rich colours of the characters make them stand out much more than if the BG was fully coloured

For most of the art that I like, it's a "total package" kind of thing. It's very rarely one specific thing.
For your art in particular, I like the basic look of the characters. I like you penciling technique, and your coloring technique (when you color). After I saw the art, I started to see the characters themselves. I like the way the characters are definete in their character, the way they act, and how they're not totally over the top. It's a kind of lighthearted seriousness, and I really like that written style. When you don't color, I like the way the lines show through just a little, giving them a "work in progress" feel, but also giving them some depth in a way, even a little motion. It's almost like watching something cool being made. And, when you color, that's when we really get to see those "really cool" things.
I also like how your style is very defined, and personal. You're not trying to be like someone else, you're just being you.

For me it was your drawing style that caught my attention. You draw in an anime style but you have your own twist. Your images don't look like everyone elses. That is all.

For me it truely depends on the mood...but usually it is the whole and maybe even the background(not drawn but a stroy of why) to it...for the background gives it life..sometimes
