These are the characters from Tales of Hearts, which are part of a project I'm doing, to draw all of the characters from the Tales of Series to make a big poster out of them.I absolutely hated drawing some of these characters in all honesty! Innes, Incarose, Kunzite and Richea should all die for wearing such retarded clothes!!
*Sigh* ok a bit ott, but they really annoyed me, I\'m surprised they all turned out so well in the end lol! And they do look cool I suppose: I love Incarose's design, very indimidating and badass! And I really like Richea, Shing and Hisui, as my favourites.
EDIT: I added Creed Graphite, Corundum, Peridot, and Byrocks. I did my best on Creed Graphite: the only resouces I had were his Hi-ougi cut in and sprites from youtube videos. I love Peridot, Byrocks and Corundum, but this game's characters were way too hard to draw!

Oh, you should actually play the game: and there is a translated script somewhere online, so now you can play the game and roughly read along with the dialogue (that's what I'll do next time I play through!).

I love his collar! I wasn't sure which colour it should be, so I went for purple as the most evil sort of colour: it matches his weird outfit too!

The way she acts with Innes is kinda... yeah. She KEEPS GOING ON ABOUT HER BOOBS. AND ARSE. And she's suposedly mad about being flat, but she kinda uses every occasion to tease Innes about it and gets flustered a couple of times, and... yeah. Also she's the one who says Kohak's an amazing stripper in the victory pose (causing Shing to get the blame).
And I get that vibe from her. My gaydar might be fail, but usually I'm better with girls than guys, so...
As for Shing...
His voctory poses that look like a magical girl's pose.
His shiny eyes with stars in them when he does a 30+ combo

Hahaha, yeah, I understand all those things your saying! It's just, I didn't get some of these things, cause I don't know any japanese: I've just been using the plot summary!
So that makes sense about Beryl!, but Shing's not that girly: although the sparkly eyes are weird! It's like: "I slaughtered enemies! *sparkly eyes*"

Well the script translation if up if you want. I don't remember where I got it, but I could probably find it again. Though most fun stuff is in the skits and those aren't translated.
Well for me he is. A lot of his poses are girly, and he fangirls, and he's the character that cries the most in the entire game XD
I think for me the characters, from most manly to most girly, go: Innes, Hisui, Kunzite, Kohak, Beryl, Shing.

And ogods the first battle against her is WIN.
Hard, since you can't use Shing or Kohak and light is the only element she's even slightly weak to... But ogods so epic. (oh yeah, and you have no resurection spell, Kohak is out, and the materia Hisui needs to learn raisedead is the one SHE drops.)
You don't have to win the fight, but it's worth it (if only to get said materia).
The second fight is actually easier IMO XD

Oh yeah, I remember her being refered to as a Sorceress! And of course I've seen the official art, or else I'd never have been able to draw her! Her gender still isn't obvious in my opinion though!
Yeah, I do have the game, I've played about 20 hours so far (though half of that's probably been spent in the Spir Link Mazes lol)
And that's a good tip for the first battle with Incarose: I'll make sure I do beat her to get Raise Dead for Hisui! Not having Shing or Kohak should be fine, since I'll have Hisui (hopefully by then he'll learn Nurse) and I'll still be able to use Innes, who's pretty good if I feel like swapping out Shing.

It was hell for me. I'd used only Shing for nearly all the game till then, and had to train myself with Innes as a result XD
That and Shing and Kohak are the only two to use light XD
My tip? Level up your healing stone XD

Oh right! I'm still best with Shing, but I like to mix it up sometimes! I'll make sure to have my Heal Stone set to be able to heal a lot of HP that battle too then!

Have it activate only when someone dies, because you don't want all its uses to be gone when she uses her Hi Ougi.
Hum... You've got Princele (which has another massive boss fight btw~ ), and then some running around and then the military base, which is a rather long and annoying dungeon if my memory serves me right...
The dungeon before Incarose is ridiculously short, though, but you can go back to the military base if you need to level up.
By the way the desert is a b*tch, since you have split teams. If you don't play Barbattler, I'd suggest saving your items for when you're in Innes's group.

Good idea, to use the heal stone as a safety net for her Hi-ougi!
And I just went through the desert yesterday. It was ok actually: but when I got to controlling Beryl and Innes, I did find myself having to use way too many items, so I skipped the fights for them to save the items for the inevitable Sandworm battle (which ended up being ok lol).
By the way, what do you mean when you say: "playing it Barbattler"? I dunno if I am or not lol!

Which is HELL in battles like our dear Incarose.
Pfft when I got to Beryl and Innes to took Beryl and spammed Ice Needles, I think. It's pretty cheap.
But Beryl gets the CHEAPEST MOVE IN TOH EVER
WHich is called Slash Colors and is a fighting tech, not a spell.
Basically, you get it, and you can pwn as Beryl for the rest of the game, making your fights half as long as before. It's a bit boring to spam the same tech, but in the bonus dungeon that appears after you clear the game, i'ts VERY useful.

I didn't realise Beryl was so good, she seems pretty useless to me, compared with the others. I haven't got Slash Colours yet, I guess that makes Beryl a bit like Lilith in Tales of Destiny, with her broken Rainbow Arch lol

ANd considering what a b*tch the optional dungeon is, you're happy to have it*(though in my case it was probably gamer's pride XD)
yeah, the whole game. Once you've beaten the boss you get it, and then you can reload your clear game save directly and it brings you just before the boss again, but with all you've won for beating him, and new places available, etc.
