Description
Here are 2 well known legends for this picture, a Gloster Meteor and a de Havilland DH.100 VampireFrom what I can piece together the Meteor is of the T.7 type making a 2 seat Trainer and the Vampire when I saw the 2 seat cockpit believed it to be the T.11 Trainer variant.
The main thing to know about them are the Meteor has 2 Rolls-Royce Derwent 8 turbojets, main armament consisted of 4 20mm Hispano MkV Cannons in the nose and the Vampire is a twin boom Aircraft powered by 1 de Havilland Goblin 3 centrifugal turbojet and main armament consisted of 4 20mm Hispano Cannon in the nose.

The Meteor is actually the Classic Air Force Meteor T.7, not their NF.11.

Well yes the T.7 was a training variant. However the NF.11 was not! As the NF designation denotes, the NF.11 was actually a night fighter, the second seat needed for the radar operator.
I have included an image of both for comparison.
