Description
Since it's been a little while without any deviant updates, I figured I'd post something new and different from the usual fare. So here's one of the sketch incentive covers variant editions I recently drew for IDW's Robots in Disguise #1 upcoming release this Wed. I'm not sure when the sketch variants will ship to stores, but hopefully some TF fans out there heading to their local comic stores will get a kick out of the sketch covers I did for Prowl, Bumblebee, Ironhide and other notables who appear in the first issue.transformersΒ©hasbro inc. I tried to snag one from my LCS, but they only got ONE and have 9 branches. Definitely some nice sketches on there though. Will you be bringing any to Boston Comic Con (because honestly eBay is making me sad)? Thanks!

You nailed Prowl's expression. Great job on the whole piece!

Well, it's about time IDW hired you to draw something! You drew such awesome things for them in the past, I was waitin' to see some new stuff.

Thanks. It's a unique cover, so there'll just be one of them. I did cover sketches on many, many of these shipping out to comic stores for IDW. They're the sketch edition variant covers. Did a ton of Prowl sketches for this book actually. Some Jazz as well.

I REALLY like this, Dan. It's different from your usual style -- in a good way. Love the angle and the FrownyFaceofDoom.

Thanks. I did a variety of different styles for the various sketch covers, so this was just one of many.

BTW, it's a fun read! Great story and art by John Barber and Andrew Griffith. I think TF comic fans are in for a treat with this book.
