I really liked the 1989 animated movie. I still have the VHS tape of it to this day. Yeah, I'm old.
I always thought that the snozzcumbers were giant, cucumber-like fruits. And I also believes that the reason that BFG acted weird and describing the snozzcubers tasted the way they do is because the fruity flesh was tangy and somewhat sour in flavor. A view flavor, in general.
Would explain a lot.
I've always wanted to try the snozzcumbers and some of the frobscottle. I think everyone that saw the movie did.
