Here's my take on a certain scene from the RWS story "Escape", found in Enterprising Engines.Here, Oliver, Isabel and Toad are hiding in a blocked siding from the baying and growling diesels nearby...

Also, if the diesels are looking down the quarry branch, can't they see him right there?
