Description Outside the park, Alexandra Avenue, Athens, in the day that snowed. It had stopped snowing by then, but the air took the snow off the trees and it created a beautiful atmosphere and effect. I tried really hard to protect my camera from all the snow (mostly unsuccessfully ).
After these photos, I walked to work since there were no buses or anything..!

Oh by the way, I was just reading an article about hedgehogs in the UK. It seems they haven't gone 'sleeping' for the winter, and they act strange and look exhausted. Scientists are afraid that if the weather keeps it up like that, it will mean the end of hedgehogs in UK!!!!! :S

Yeah, and ours are already coming out and we were told not to feed them, so that those who get that early habit should die and not pass their genes on. But that's so cruel IMO

Damn, we have really destroyed our climates, haven't we? :S I'm sorry for that.. hope you'll get to have some even if it means that it snows in the beginning of spring!! Glad you like the shot!

I don't think we'll get snow this year, it feels like we have passed that limit now. OK some snowfalls might come but nothing that stays on the ground for more than a few hours. After all we're soon in Mars. On the other hand on strange years we have gotten snow in April too. )We even have an expression called April Snow - wich means mostly that faith is playing a trick on you.) Like in 2006 we had winter up until late april and then - WHAM it becamse summer. Went from around zero degrees to like 20 in just a few days! Wicked!

Yeah, it's like they said that seasons will stop existing, it will just be winter-summer, instead of winter-spring-summer-autumn. :S

Don't worry about that, as long as you keep feeding us terrific stuff

Or as we had the last year sping-autumn-spring. Or almost one endless, grey, lukewarm, rainy and boring season.

A really beautiful winter shot! It looks so tranquil with all that pristine snow. Snow is always most wonderful when it's new and white and before it gets soiled by car fumes and sand.

Yes, and I had woken early enough to see it mostly untouched by other people too! Thank you!

Thank you!
Well, it used to snow in winters, but then because of all the climatic changes it hadn't snowed again for over a decade, until it snowed some 5 years ago. Most of it back then melted when in the first two hours because of all the cars and all the warmness the buildings produce. I guess we have killed our climate enough right now so that we'll be getting colder winters and hotter summers!
