Description In Greek they're called "Stili Tou Olympiou Dios". They are what remains of a great ancient monument, close to the center of Athens. In the back you can see the Acropolis. These colums are actually much higher than the Acropolis's, but they don't have such publicity because most of them are lost.
Part of a project I'm into right now about Archeological Sites.

Thank you very much!! Yes, they are pretty amazing, I don't understand why they don't have much attention on them - seems like the Acropolis gets all of it..!

Nice pic.......Composition could have been improved a lil though....The branch that is on the left top side is distracting the eye.....Beautiful shot by the way....

Thanks! I guess it is a bit, but I'm against cutting branches or doing anything unnecessary against plants and nature, so it just had to stay there!

Wow, how beautiful! I like the flowers in the foreground and the acropolis in the background- it makes it seem as if it has layers. Have you sold any prints?

Thank you so much! That is an older photo though, I'm so stupid, I submitted a larger file to submit this photo as a print, and by mistake I put it as a major change and that my watchers should be notified!!! :S

Well, that project is an older project of mine, as is that submission - I made it available as a print and accidentally put on it to notify my watchers of a change on it! :S So all photos from that project that I was going to submit, I already have done so over a year ago!
