Description
In Greek they're called "Stili Tou Olympiou Dios". They are what remains of a great ancient monument, close to the center of Athens. In the back you can see the Acropolis. These colums are actually much higher than the Acropolis's, but they don't have such publicity because most of them are lost.Part of a project I'm into right now about Archeological Sites.

Hmmm... I tried what you told me, but with most of the green part of the grass missing, the photo looks plainer because of lower contrast between the colours. I mean, when you first look at this photo, you see two things - the ruins and the contrast between the purple(of the flowers) and the green (of the grass) colours. Thanks a lot though for the advise - I'll think more of it!

I've seen many of these magnificent greek monuments during my trips to greece..but everytime I was under the summer sun...and the paces were very sunny..and there wasn't any sight of nature...grass, flowers...so...in this picture I have seen "the other part of the coin"..this is why I appreciate this pic!
