Description
It would be of no surprise that our favorite time traveling, sword-welding hero would end up in the past as much as in the future. So it seemed natural that Link would easily strike his call to arms against evil in more archaic settings.
The premiering image of the the black figure series will feature iconic character/heroes in the historical Athenian Black and/or Figure style.
Come check this out with other new pieces at any of my 2012 convention appearances.

I also wanted to thank Dane Ault of Monkey Minion Press for tutoring me in Illustrator. He's a great instructor who is both insightful and passionate about art and it's vast array of tool, his being Illustrator and wacom.

Woah! I dig this style, as crazy and out there as it is. Definitely would like to see more!

My god, this is awesome!
This would make a great subject for some experimental archaeology, making a pot like that.
What do you think, belly handled amphora or krater?

I think it would look great on a krater. Perhaps I will be able to source some blanks and paint them. It's a dream I think would be obtainable sometime in the future.
Glad you like it. It is kinda very personal piece for me, honestly. It is the first one that helped me understand what I really wanted out of my artwork and how to bring the parts of myself together professionally: the geeky references and the sophistication of ancient design.

That would be fantastic! Something I'd love to see.
Very good! A nice genre to get started in. I'm glad to see that the work of the ancients is perpetuated even to this day.

Funny, I had this unfinished (and never going to see the light) fanfic where Link goes to Greece, sadly he ends up hating it due to it being an disaster (you know like in a comedy).
This picture would have been in a jar and that would have been his souvenir.... if toon Link hadn't broke it when he turned his back
Anyway great job!
See ya~
