Description

Revisited my roots with Dancwart as a humble infantry man of the felinid auxilia.

I even have a little lore:

---

Dancwart was the vox operator of his unit, deployed on a distant fringe world, barely within the empires reach. It's denizens enjoyed an unusual level of freedom from imperial politics, something they attributed to this remoteness. But in the last decades, the world had come to know the presence of another empire. That of the Tau.

The fragile truce broke down when the Xenos staged a revolution. Dancwart's unit was among the first to draw fire by suspiciously well-armed civilians.
As the clamor of the Greater Good resounded throughout the streets, the few survivors of Danc's unit retreated into a broadcasting station. As his comrades held the lines Dancwart did what he did best: Talked smack
Broadcasting a vicious rebuke to the Xenos rhetoric, delivered live with his usual smug sarcasm. The Tau, as expected, quickly responded in kind, and battle over the ether ensued.

The revolutionary mantra of "No empire! no meddling! Only the greater good!" was met with the local proverb:
"The Emperor protects, but the warp protects us from his bureaucrats." and the remark "Do you really think these Xenos bureaucrats are as... delightfully inefficient?"

The water caste's promise of security and protection was refuted with "After this scarfuffle, my comrades and I can vouch these fine citizens needs no protection. But if you so dearly want to sell the Greater Good to this mean bunch, why not join us at the front? Better bring that fancy armour of yours~"
And when the Tau authorities accused the broadcast for escalating the violence, the rebuke "Blame the cat" would become a platitude synonymous for authorities passing blame onto catty critics.

The conflict ended in our empires . There was no denying in that the clashes over radio had served an important role in rallying the citizens to our imperium's side. Unfortunately for the feline soldier however, the tribunal would deem some if the takes as, how they put it, "slightly heretical", resulting in some disciplinary consequences. But his officers could not deny his knack for propaganda.

Shortly after the sentence, he was recruited to the retinue of one of the high ranking commissars. A new role the cat described as "Disinformation, Directed Indignation, but most importantly, Decoration."
