every so often when i feel i'm in a block, i whip up a picture of it, use it as a reference and just speedpaint.did one a few weeks ago, but this one came out SUPERBLY better. its amazingly good practice!

there are some errors i can see that i could have done better on, but for the most part i'm pretty proud of the outcome.

i really love your art, a lot. i know i don't comment very much, because most of the time i'd just be repeating, "god, i really love the way you make faces and expressions" and "the way you paint is gorgeous, so soft and flowing", but i feel like i should comment on this one. this actually looked like a picture from the thumbnail, and when i saw your name next to it, i was kinda confused. this is gorgeous, it's so well done, and i absolutely love how realistic it is. it's definitely much different from your usual style. don't get me wrong though, i absolutely love your unique personalized style, i could recognize your art anywhere at any time, and that's saying A LOT considering how many people rip other's styles these days, and that's just sad. it's so very nice to see such variety, and then you add variety to the already existing variety, and it really comes out fuckin' fantastic. wonderful work.

At first I thought you were making a joke. I saw the thumbnail and was positive it was a photograph and then I clicked on it and it was not a photograph.
