Description
~5t4r5y asked me to write up a tutorial on how to draw Plus size fashion models for this round of my contest and this is what I came up with. It's more a guide than a tutorial, but I found this the best way to explain.
I hope it's helpful to anyone and easy to understand... I did try!

Yeah, I make my flats in Illustrator, but I don't know how to go about making the illustrations, and the ones you did in Illustrator look awesome.

Ah I see. There is not much difference to what you do for an illustration, really. When you know the basics you just have to play around. I will post my tutorial eventually but right now it's stuck on my computer that died a week ago *cries*

I hope is not a notebook, those things are practically impossible to fix.

oh yes...*sighs*
I will give it a try. At first I thought it was just the graphics card but it won't boot anymore all together. I do hope I can get at least my files saved.
I swore my next computer will be a Mac...too much trouble with windows in the last years.

Are you sure it's a software problem? 'Cos with notebooks it's usually hardware, because of the poor ventilation.

DandeiraArt In reply to manu666tb [2009-09-14 20:56:16 +0000 UTC]
well no, I don't think it's software. I do believe it's the hardware.. but I'm just hoping it's the graphics card that fried rather than the motherboard.
The thing is that I do prefer laptops to desktop pcs because I can take them along everywhere I go and work. It's just a lot easier and more comfortable.
One way or another I had bad experience with both kinds.

I'm working on it
I have the basic one almost finished but it's stuck on my computer which died last week and I don't have the money at the moment to have it repaired or my files copied. If I'm lucky I might find my Illustrator CD somewhere, though and can start over
