Description
A new element in the Halo's vehicles serie. Six and counting...As I said in the last drawing of the serie, I don't know anything about them, because I haven't play the games where they appear. Although I find that this one is from Halo 3; and that it's big. This is a vehicle I liked a lot, and as far as it was pretty simple to do, it was a relaxing experience.
-----

one tiny itty bitty thing: the ramp/pannel that you can walk up above the words "UNSC". From this angle the perspective should make it sort of tapir upwards, kind of twisting a little bit. Its hard to explain, but i think its because thats the eye level of the person looking. But either way, right now that ramp is not a flat ramp, its leaning down to the side ever so slightly.
Just tryen to help

As you say, maybe is the angle, but actually I was wondering why there is a ladder because I don't know how the vehicle is supposed to work (as I said, I only know it for pictures references and never I've seen the game). Thank you very much for the feedback.

Hm, my only critic on this is the back wheels I think are supposed to be flat (based on Halo 3's model). But other then that it looks wonderfull! And my first impression was the Mammoth that was introduces in Halo 4 because I forgot about the elephant and the back side thingy looked like the Mammoth's gun.

Hum, the back wheels are supposed to be continuous tracks/tank treads/caterpillar tracks, and therefore flat. But I recognized than for the back, I use more the frontal as reference, because it was more clear in the details. So I could introduce some error there. Or maybe because they are smaller, so they look different. Anyway, thanks for the feedback!
And curiosly, the Mammoth was the vehicle that I like so much, that convinced me to try to draw other vehicles than those from "Halo 1" (my original idea). Although I still don't dare to try to do it because it looks complicated. But someday in the future I will.

Didn't realise this was from Halo 3, my first impression was that it looked like something out of 'Thunderbirds.'

Well, I think that military gear tend to look alike. I only discover it's existence because I want to draw as much human vehicles from Halo as I can. Otherwise I neither would know that it is from that game.

The Elephant, the most entertaining vehicle in all of Halo. You could entertain yourself for hours with it. Once a friend and I made the Elephant fly into the sky by jamming it with explosives and setting them off. The thing flew in the air for about a half an hour. lol

It seems that create "flying Elephants" is very popular, judging by the number of images of this vehicles in the air I found in dA.

I don't want to be a downer but the Halo 3 Elephant is the M313 Heavy Recovery Vehicle, the M312 Heavy Recovery Vehicle is the Halo Wars Elephant.

Don't worry. As I say, the few data I know is from Halo's wikis. The problem was that the information says: "The M312 Heavy Recovery Vehicle, [...] It appears exclusively in Halo 3's multiplayer map Sandtrap, as a civilian variant in Halo 3: ODST and as a unit in Halo Wars." And I stopped the reading in "Halo 3".
But I must say that I can't find anything about your distintion between M312 and M313. My Googles searchs find practically the same information in both, and a Wiki discussion seems to suggest it could be a typo. Anyway, my concern is if the tittle and the drawing are right.

Don't use google, use Halopedia.org and not the wikia version.

Thanks for the links!
Well, maybe because I'm from Mexico, normally the first link I got is a version in spanish , and usually I only search for the english name, and no more. Now, I'll use your references. And I'll fix the title. Thanks again!
