Ahadi walked blindly through the shadows of Pride Rock in search of his lost son, when he came across the familiar dark fur lying across the rocky ground.“Son?” he called out meekly, “Son I-I…I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean to do it, I just…I never…s-son?”
But the king received no reply; the only acknowledgement that Taka had even heard him, was a dismissive flick of his ear. When he made to move closer, a voice stopped him.
“Leave me be, “ the voice muttered darkly.
Ahadi’s eyes closed briefly, the detached tone of his son’s voice stabbing painfully at his heart, but he deserved nothing less after his actions.
"Please son…let me help you,” begged the king, his voice full of remorse.
Taka lifted his head and turned to glare callously at his father. His mouth contorted into a sarcastic snarl as red liquid ran down his cheek and dripped from his chin, the substance quickly drying and matting fur. His closed, pained eye pierced the king’s soul, and he instinctively took a step back.
“I think you’ve helped me enough Father!” Taka spat before he turned away from the king and rested his head on the cold stone below him.

Aw, God, Ahadi. Both of them, really... they're hurting so badly and don't know how to fix it.
I always like this take on Scar, honestly; that his father honestly did love him, and that one act of rage made it all worse. It just seems so much more tragic, for both Scar and Ahadi.

I heard that in one of the books Taka gets his scar from a wilderbeast, other fans like the idea that his father, Ahadi gave him the scar.
I liked this idea best and, like Audrey Cosmo, believe that he gave him the scar while he was blinded by rage but then later regretted it

i got some info about it, i found out the books were published in america after the movie... anyway, the wildbeast which hit taka was a water buffalo... quite disappointing, isn't it?
i prefer to imagine that muffasa hit him, it would justify scar's hatred... but also ahadi theory s interesting!!
it's so amusing making up new stories from originals ones! it's a good fantasy training...

I like it..i just love the cartoon..was the first one that i watched as a kid with my father when i was young in cinema and cant get that day out of my head ^^..was kinda nice moment couse i didnt spend much time with my father couse he didnt like that i didnt like sport..ah well nice pic

Actually, Shembre and djcoulzanimalsonly have the most accurate depiction of Ahadi. The pictures in the book contradicts the writing.
