I like how you give each individual rating a distinct color.  Here's how I would color the ratings:

3 would be white.
7 would be green.
12 would be yellow.
16 would be orange.
18 would be red.

I think the PEGI system is a much better system than the ESRB in a few respects.  First off, they make their age ratings symbols more visually distinct by using colors.  Secondly, the PEGI website allows you to read and download their ratings questionnaire, and it has clear concrete criteria for all age ratings, and you can do see the questionnaire by clicking here.   The ESRB would never allow you to download their questionnaire unless you're a game developer.

Sometimes I think that noone is carring about pegi ratingsystem.
