Description I grabbed the Button logo off of a high rez file. The Button wallpaper on the internet is always dead center. I did this one to look like the original Watchmen comic cover of the first issue. Where it is lying on the street in a puddle of blood. Hope you dig it.

By the way, check out my gallery for pictures of my upcoming comicbook release ELSINORE from Alias Enterprises. It's a 9 issue series starting in April.

I worked with Alan Moore on my first comic years ago and I have used everything I have learned from the master on this new project.

Glory!

You couldn't happen to put a 1440x900, or something a little smaller, could you?

Hell yeah I dig it! And use it! You worked with Allan Moore? What an honour! That man sure can write, I hope they are really doing the Watchmen Movie! (That comic is so deep.... I don't know how I can describe it better)

I would rather see a Watchmen trilogy by Peter Jackson.

Now that would rock!

wow...alan moore....id love to even be remotely good to work with guys like that....even if you did "screw up his book" i think the lone fact that you drew his script is bragging rights alone!

Great idea--this turned out fantastic. I really think it's about time I reread this series.

My first professional comic work was Violator vs. Badrock with Alan Moore. Rob Liefeld told me I could pick my writer and I asked for Moore. Liefeld said there was no f-ing way, but I said "sure there is. You are Rob Liefeld. You can get him!" and that must have inspired him because as they walked off laughing at my cockiness they called Alan Moore and he agreed to write this book.

I was just a cocky kid and wanted Alan Moore for the shits and giggles of it all. I never even read watchmen all the way through. I tried last year and got distracted. By issue 3 though you know the book is sheer brillance.

Hey, if you hadn't tried then it never would have happened, right? Sometimes you just gotta have a pair of brass cajones to get what you want.

I read one of Alan Moore's scripts once--I'm remembering some incredibly detailed panel descriptions. I'd love to hear more of your impressions from working with him.

Do you happen to know if there are any of his scripts posted online?

I never had any contact with Alan Moore. My editor had him on the phone once and asked if I wanted to speak to him, but I was either too nervous or tongue-tied. I told my editor that I didn't have anything to ask him or say to him because he provided a very detailed script and LAYOUTS. So all I had to do was draw what he wanted. I did ask my editor if I could change panel layouts and they told me as long as everything Moore wanted in each panel was still there.

I'm sure there are some Moore scripts online. I know there are a few fanclubs of his online with some great information.

I was at San Diego a few years ago and was talking to this guy just being friendly. He looked at my badge after a few minutes and freaked out when he recognized my name. He was the president of an Alan Moore fanclub and had a ton of questions. We both agreed that my work was total crap on that book I drew. I explained a lot of how it got off the ground and the rules I had to follow as the artist. We both were laughing a few minutes into the conversation. He said I got a lot of grief from the fanclub for screwing up Moore's work, but he said he woulkd return to them and clarify some stuff.

I had my scripts and layouts until a year ago. Funny thing I was married to Scott Clark's ex-wife. He drew the Wildcats Spawn book. She was married to both artists of the Spawn crossover artists. LOL
