I took some inspiration from some real life lizards for this guy. Obviously heβs got the Flying Dragon membranes. Hes also got a segmented, spiky tail, similar to a bearded dragon. Also like a bearded dragon, he has a spiky face and neck. The big, broad blades on his jaw can spread out like a frilled lizard. Oh, and heβs drooling like a Komodo dragon. Way cool.

Nice. Makes sense with the drool, considering that Varan is part of the monitor lizard's family name (varanus).
