Rust Dragon - I guess it's one of the most evil dragons in Heroes of Might & Magic III, and one of the strongest, too.UPD. Спустя четыре года после того, как этот дракон был нарисован, я вижу, что число фавов перевалило за 400. Люди, ну это же дилетантизм. Серьёзно. Нет у народа вкуса.

just a what might sound like a weird question , everyone says dragons in
truth dont exist. but if you look around the world to every established
colony or group of people, have you noticed that in some way all around
the world , each and every one of them have something or some version
of a dragon. so fantasy or shared memory? just something to think about

Заметил, что в интернете на удивление мало качественных рисунков на тему Героев 3, несмотря на их популяроность и разнообразие существ. Интересно, а вы не знаете, где в интернете можно еще найти рисунки на тему классических существ Героев 3 или на тему их городов?

Эх, давно это было. Я уже не рисую существ из "Героев", перешла на собственные разработки, а рисунки ещё замечают - это греет мне душу. Спасибо! Может, я ещё вернусь к этой теме, если появится время.
По третьим Героям в основном русские рисуют, что примечательно. То, что мне понравилось с девиантарта, собрала сюда danga-sundragon.deviantart.com… , ещё немало хороших рисунков и приколов находила в группах вконтакта, но ссылок кинуть не могу, только номера страниц, потому что девиантарт принимает все вконтактовские страницы за спам и не даёт вставить в сообщение даже неполные ссылки. Why are the Rust Dragons so evil? All they wanted was a future in the Mining Industry... Or is there something I have forgotten?

Mostly they are neutral, but in Dragon Slayer campaign they killed miners from Brakada towns (I hate this campaign for obvious reasons, lol)

Oh, c'mon... People in the HOMM universe kill each other all the time! As if this was the first time somebody started a massacre over monopoly of stones and sulfur...

That's why I hate the storyline of this campaign... Somebody needed a 'high-minded' reason to kill the dragons.

Wow. I didn't think people really played HoMM3 anymore. Pleased to see that I was wrong! The drawing itself is good, too. I can see the resemblance, as in, it looks exactly the way the HoMM3 Rust Dragons do, if not better.

Well they're not exactly evil... Heck even the Red/Black dragons have their moments of Uh... Being neutral or something? I guess it depends on who's raising them and stuff.
It's a pity HoMM 4 & 5 don't have the Rust and Azure dragons. And a pity that the Faerie Dragon in 4 isn't as cute as the one in 3 (Or as menacing looking when it's casting spells. That is one angry face when it conjures those fireballs!)
You'd think that with all the dragons in 5 that they'd bother to include these guys, but noooo...
Also don't Rust dragons eat Gorgons? Why are they affected by their Death Stare then? You'd also think that if they fed primarily on something that could kill them that easily they'd have developed some sort of immunity over the centuries (Like that Fortress Hero who is resistant to the gaze of basilisks.)
...
That reminds me, do you have any awesome artworks of the HoMM 3 basilisk? I want to hug one.

In the campain "Dragon Slayer" (I personally HATE it, agrrrrh) Rust dragons were evil. They killed peasants around Brakada towns. But I agree, mostly they are neutral.
It's a good idea to draw Basilisks, it's impossible not to love them

Yeah, it's the traditional "Because they were here first and then they attacked us they must be evil. Makes perfect sense" scenario 
I hated that campaign for multiple reasons. 1: Difficulty. 2: Dragon killing. 3: BS reason for the said killings.
