Beta Binary is part of the eldest groups of Rouge Star Maidens that aided Alpha Nemesis in the attempt to steal The Advent Scepter in the Advent Wars. She is a brilliant scientist and inventor, creating many of the mystical weaponry and equipment that can Counter act or neutralize the powers of other Star Maidens. When Alpha Nemesis was freed from her Earth tomb, Beta and the other rogues were sent to Earth to recover her and help her regain the Spectrum Star Crystal to dominate the universe. In order not to arouse suspicion from the Star Maidens on Earth, Beta disguises herself as Betty Turman, a science professor at the University of Oregon.

Beta can best be described as being distant and calculating. Beta believes that the most logical chose is usually the right one. That was one of the main reasons why Beta joined the Rouge Maidens because she felt that Alpha Nemesis was the logical choice to guard The Advent Scepter because of her mastery of Dark Light Energy would give her the necessary advantage. Beta Binary might also have a rivalry with fellow rouge Star Maiden Lambda Lighting as they clash over different tactics in batting the Star Maidens and will have a some what close relationship with Gamma Ganymede as Gamma looks up to Beta for her brilliance and efficiency and Beta treats Gamma as a very valuable student apprentice

Beta possesses the exact same superhuman abilities as all the other Star Maidens: super speed and strength, flight, a "smart" shield protecting her from all types of projectile weapons and explosives, spinning transformation and her special magical attacks. Beta Binary abilities include the Binary Bomb, a special attack where she summons dual swirling Energy Orbs which can seek out and destroy their target; the Binary Net, a ability where she creates a net that can trap a Star Maiden which binds their powers; and Binary Fission, an ability where Beta Binary can spit into two different entities Beta White The Passive part of Beta's personality that works best for gathering intelligence and Beta Black the aggressive half of Beta personality that works best for battle. Her "Counter-Maiden" weapons include a long range stun-laser bow, which can project laser-like arrows to de-capacitate its' intended target, and a dual laser-bladed staff for melee combat. She is highly trained in various fields of science and biology. She is also a highly skilled and gifted inventor and weapons specialist, providing "Counter-Maiden" weaponry and gadgets to her fellow Rogues. She has an IQ of 240 and is an expert in international policy and is fluent in multiple languages. For her cover, she currently teaches a science class at the University of Oregon.
