Red Rose is a former ballerina with the Moscow ballet who quit the troupe following a near-career ending knee injury and uses her extraordinary physical agility as a professional mercenary and bodyguard who only limits her clients to law abiding citizens and businesses. One day after moving to Los Angeles, she stopped by the local bank to transfer her money to her new account, when suddenly, two armed bank robbers stormed in an attempted to rob the place. By a chance encounter she met with 13-year old child genius Bo Montgomery Peep, a former weapons inventor who was cut off from her defense company due to layoffs. The two reluctantly devise a plan and subdue the robbers using one of Bo's concealed hi-tech weapons and Red's martial arts maneuvers. Later knowing that the laboratory in the defense firm was Bo's only home and was kicked out from there, Red invited Bo to stay the night at her new home in Venice Beach. As fate would have it, a call from a United Nations humans rights watchdog group e-mailed Red as the duo just entered the house. The E-Mail was a job for Red to go on a mission to a former Soviet republic to rescue refugees from a brutal warlord. Red had no choice but to accept. Concerned about the current situations she is in, Bo decided to help Red in the mission. After successfully bringing the refugees to a nearby friendly territory, with help from Bo's assistant S.H.E.E.P. and several hi-tech gadgets, the girls were reward the service fee. Thankful for Bo, Red made a new partnership with the teen inventor and soon formed a mercenary/bodyguard service. Thus began a friendship between the two and began a new chapter in their careers.

Red is a quiet type, who uses her gentle personality and lady-like charm to conceal her professional effectiveness on the job. Little is known of her past, except memories of a past childhood blunder (she was kicked out of her parents' home for being extremely messy around the house) which are triggered every time she hears an old tune from her old music box (the one which her grandmother gave her when she was 8). Red do not want to share her past trauma with Bo, despise occasionally being nagged about it. When on the job, Red released her inner rage with her unique combat skills to cloud her trauma, leaving her enemies confused by only estimating her quiet gentle exterior. She also has a lighter side; constantly teasing Bo while she is working on her inventions leaving her frustrated. Red is a little picky on her assignments, especially when she does not accept assassination missions now matter how high the fee is. Red remains ever vigil while keeping her femininity and grace. Her favorite hobby is practicing ballet in her spare time. Her favorite food is Strawberry smoothies.

Trained as both a ballerina and a mercenary, Red uses her dancing skills and enhance her secretly metahuman reflexes, giving her superhuman agility and reaction time. She is a highly trained swimmer, climber, gymnast and skydiver. She is well trained in karate, judo and military-issue hand-to-hand combat techniques. She is a trained markswoman and weapons expert, though she mostly limits her mission gear to pistols, sniper rifles, stun grenades and occasional non-lethal ordnance and ammunition. Her preferred weapon is a Glock 19 pistol and in some missions carries a spare one in case of extreme emergencies. She has access to Bo Peep's massive arsenal of hi-tech weapons, vehicles and equipment including S.H.E.E.P.'s transformable armor which gives her super-speed, flight, offensive weapons, and can upgrade its' shell to fully covered armor to protect her from projectile weapons and explosives.
