From this point, I'll be posting months-old stuff I originally intended to keep as style practice. This is not one of them.I've been toying around with a simpler artstyle in this last couple of days. It's lineless, uses significantly less colors, it's quicker to work with, and most importantly, doesn't necessarily sacrifice detail.
So here's King K. Rool. I'll be working on other SSBU fighters as well; there's a chance I even get to do everyone.

K Rool was definitely my most anticipated newcomer for Ultimate, but I would love to see the Belmonts in your style. Also while not a newcomer, the new Zelda design they chose for Ultimate is one that I would love to see too.

He was the guy I voted for on the Ballot back for Sm4sh, I was 100% on board for his inclusion and I was so happy he made it in.

but I was still fully on board with K. Rool, DKC is one of my childhood games and I have fond memories of his boss fights : )
