Hey there...! After bein' away for about na year and a month, I'm finally back into action...! I've always known i couldn't live without this... I've been plannin' my return for quite a while... I thought i'd use this simple drawin' to add it a greater impact... : P... Thing is... It's exactly because it's a simple drawin' that it took me long to draw...: I wanted to make it look as good as possible...!I thought this one would be the perfect pic for my comeback, so here it goes...: A lady who seems to be fully aware of the immeasurable beauty and sexiness of a big and soft belly...!

Aww, that's kinda cute >w<. I will say that being on DA has made me want to be more involved in social groups, I'm kind of an introvert otherwise
(Speaking of being involved with the community, I was recently inspired to try and write my stories and drawings on here again once I finish with this quarter's workload. Perhaps you'd like to do a trade sometime once I've reestablished myself as active? ;3 ).

Heh, Nala's an interesting one to be sure. Personality-wise she's very introverted and gives the impression that she doesn't like people very much, but the truth is she's just afraid. You see Nala is an empath, meaning she can feel other people's emotions just by being near them. In small groups this isn't a huge problem as she can just try and "tune out" the feelings she gets from the people around her, but large crowds are simply overwhelming, hence her fear of human contact.
For what she looks like, I have those two older sketches I mentioned:

(I know they're kinda rough but they were more for concept than detail
But if you'd like some more details I can tell you that Nala is actually the tallest of my characters at 6' 1" and over 180 lbs (most of that weight collected in her chubby little tummy

Whoa, there's a lot about her...! A vast selection of unusual traits... that must make her more interestin' and challengin' to draw...! Hmmm... Can't find the right word... But i guess i'd feel quite weird around her... I don't feel alright around girls who are taller or who can sing lower notes than me...

Haha yeah, I wanted her to be more than just another girl in a hoodie on DA XP. To be honest I'd probably be a bit nevus around her as well given that she'd be as tall as my dad, but at the same time I think I'd be drawn in by her somber expression. It's kinda weird to say but I find a certain beauty in sadness and tragedy (probably why more than one of my girls has social problems XD ).
But I hope that doesn't mean she makes you too uncomfortable to draw, does she? ;w;
(I was thinking about it last night and I actually came up with a simple potential scenario that you could draw her in, if you'd like to hear it^^).

Oh! In that case, the idea I was thinking goes something like this: Nala has just come indoors and unzipped her hoodie with the intent of taking it off. Before she can do so, she notices someone else in the room on her left that she didn't immediately sense (meaning in the picture she would be turned partially to the side). From this angle her size-too-small shirt leaves little to the imagination as her potbelly distends outward, no longer hidden by her loose hoodie (her belly being particularly round at that moment after a quite filling dinner). Realizing how exposed she is to the onlooker, a bright blush begins spreading cross her nose and cheeks as she tugs the hem of her size-too-small shirt down in a futile effort to cover her bulging potbelly. She tries to look angry as her head turns toward the onlooker, but has become so flustered that she can't quite pull it off (the expression she does give is actually quite endearing -w-). So instead of reading as "How dare you look at me!" like she'd intended, her repression comes of more as "D-Don't look at me like that..."
How does that idea sound :3 ? The pose is simple enough with her turned slightly away from the reader while still capturing her belly in view as she tugs on her shirt, the trickier part might be getting her expression. Or you might just be amazing with expressions and this might be a really easy pitch for you XD lolz
Hmm, painting? I hadn't considered that for Nala even though she does write poetry. Might be a good outlet to for her emotions now that I think on it^^. Although there is still one thing I haven't mentioned about Nala and it connects to how she senses people's emotions and-- indirectly-- why she's gotten so chubby

Hmm, that's a good question.. I don't really have a particular preference for the background-- Wait! Actually here's an idea: she's at the lobby of an apartment complex^^! There could be part of a desk and a staircase in the background, perhaps the walls are a mixture of brown and tan sections 
Oh and the "onlooker" was meant to represent the audience so no, he's not in the shot XP. lolz
