Description
Bald Eagle with Mount Rundle behindBanff National Park, Alberta
For being one of the largest birds, the Bald Eagle is dwarfed by Mt. Rundle.
This was such a special morning. I love foggy clouds like this. I didnt even get upset that there was no actual sun for sunrise.

Where did you take your shots of Rundle from? As in where were you standing? It almost looks like you got right down into the flood plain there.

vermillion lakes..
its my new favourite place ever! this was at the first lake, on the dock thingy.
we had come around the corner and startled the eagle in one of the trees by the road. and this ended up being his perch after.

Looking forward to seeing what else you shot on your trip!
I'm either heading out to the waterfall I was telling you about before you left or Writing on Stone national park this week, maybe both lol depends on how things work out. Yay for long weekends!

Near Lethbridge close to the US border. So way south. It's badlands type terrain. I've never been there myself so I'd like to take a few shots and scout it out for a future longer expedition.

Yeah a lot of times I hate every single photo from a trip because it really can't compare to the original. I usual have to wait a couple weeks before going through them to actually find shots I like. This isn't one of those iffy shots though. This is amazing. You've really been rocking the landscapes recently!
