Description
So I decided to recreate a beautiful painting called 'A Long Winter's Nap' by Tom Newsom. My rendition is oil paint on masonite board. It's a hard board that doesn't soak up the pigment like canvas material. It gives the oils an almost acrylic finish but the oil makes it shinier with more gleam. I have a round ornate gold frame for this piece. It's a small piece not quite sure of the exact dimensions but I would say it's a rounded 8x10in board.
